Antiguas cocheras de carruajes y caballos de Deba, convertida hoy en día en Cafetería y Restauranción Zalburdi

About us

The Zalburdi cafeteria is a family business that dates back to 1993 when José Ignacio Urkiri decided, after years of experience in the hospitality sector, to open his own establishment.

The place is located in the old carriage and horse garage, to which it owes its name, which was later a vehicle garage until it fell into disuse.

In its beginnings it was conceived as a cafeteria and cocktail bar. Over the years Aritz Urkiri, the second generation, has incorporated a restaurant service with a wide culinary offer.

Where we are

The Zalburdi cafeteria is located in the coastal town of Deba, which is part of the Flysch route and the Camino de Santiago. The town is a place of great tourist attraction in the summer time.

We are in:
Arakistain Square, 1
In front of the Euskotren station and the pilgrims' hostel.
